An electronic recycling and document shredding event will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Digital Direct parking lot at the Honey Brook Industrial Center, 5604 Horseshoe Pike. The event is sponsored by the Chester County Solid Waste Authority. Residents may bring up to three computers and components for free. Businesses may bring up to five computers at the cost of $10 per monitor and $5 per computer. Document shredding will end either at 2 p.m. or when 11,000 pounds of material has been accepted. Items containing Freon will not be accepted. • The Freedman Gallery at Albright College will host an art exhibit called Pedagogy and Patronage: Highlights from the Permanent Collection, from Friday to July 30 and August 20-27.
